About
Hey there, I'm Ellen!

I photographed my very first wedding 6 days after surviving America's Deadliest Mass Shooting (true story!) in 2017, so I have a unique understanding of the importance of preserving life's most precious memories.
Since then, I've documented more than 300 weddings in the U.S. and abroad. I treat every wedding as if it were my best friends getting married, and I pride myself in becoming an honorary member of your family by the end of the day.
My goal for each wedding gallery I deliver is to draw tears to your eyes in one moment, have you laughing uncontrollably the next, and leave you with memories immortalized for future generations of your family.

Experience
I am totally about to toot my own horn here for a sec, but I have the more technical knowledge and hands-on experience than any photographer around! In addition to photographing more than 300 weddings, I regularly attend workshops and retreats catered for wedding vendors who want to better serve their clients. Here are just a few of the experts I have learned from:

I spent a week in Iceland learning from luxury photographers: Anni Graham, Jordan Voth, and India Earl.

I spent a week in Central Oregon learning from adventure wedding and elopement experts: Henry Tieu, Morgan Olsen, Monique Serra, Andie Avery, and more.

I’ve completed the in-depth Elopement Photographer Course taught by Maddie Mae of Adventure Instead.

I’ve completed a two-day in-person florist mentorship taught by Allyson Sparrow of the Love Sparrows.

I attended a week-long Destination Wedding Familiarization workshop with AMResorts in the Dominican Republic.

I spent a week in Maui, Hawaii learning from experts such as Alesia of Alesia Films and Zabrina of The Gay Agenda.
